As an electronics company, Brother International Corporation's (BIC)
parent company, Brother Industries Ltd. (BIL), has defined our Global Charter that "Concern
with the environment shall be the cornerstone of all operations", and we shall develop
environmental management programs as an aim to build up society to achieve sustainable
development. The "At your side" motto is applied, as our basic stance, to conserve the
global environment.
The primary reason for BIC's communication here is "to have more people know about
Brother's stance and approach toward the environment."
Various efforts are deployed to protect the global environment for the achievement of
sustainable development. These efforts start with product development and continue through
with product collection programs.
